ROTFLMAO. That's the first new car we bought after we were married. I
guess I'm older. It was not considered the safest in the world, but we were
hit as a young family, with my 16 month old daughter in her car seat being
the only injury. Her car seat was buckled in, but we had an older seat, from
when she was smaller sitting next to her that we were moving. It wasn't
buckled in, flew around, and gave her a small cut.

The point was that one can survive in less than the most safe car. To ask a
question of "The Fool" here, is your car the absolute safest on the road?
Is there nothing you can do to make it safer?
