I want the pocket postal scale on that page.
I hate dealing with the filament tape at the bottom of the page.

That seems to be it. I can tape 1 seam, and on the second seam he
starts screaming. Since I like to tape 3 seams on the bottom and 3
seams on the top of each box, just setting up or sealing 1 box is enough
to have him upset enough that it takes a good 5 minutes to calm him
down. :(

1) I'm not the one lifting and moving all the boxes. I'll have to move
them around in this room, and once I get to packing the books in the
other rooms of the house, I'll have to move the boxes into here, but I
won't have to move more than 1 box a day if I don't feel like it, once
enough books in *this* room are packed up. (I need to empty 6 bookcases
by Saturday. So far, 2 are empty and 1 is down to less than 2 shelves'
worth out of 6 shelves.)
2) I don't know how many boxes the total for the entire move will be,
but I doubt that it will be exactly 432. :) And the book boxes will
probably be the densest ones. (Plates may be more dense per cubic
centimeter, but they need packing material around them that reduces the
total density of the contents of the box.)
3) What *does* suck, though, is when you offer to help a friend move in
to a new apartment, and discover when you get there that they live on
the 3rd floor. (That friend owes us big time, and Dan will probably
call him when it comes time next weekend to move 6 bookcases out of here
and into a storage shed elsehwere.)

Ouch. My condolences. I've never had *that* happen, I hope it never
does, and I hope it doesn't happen to anyone reading this thread.
