No, the whole point of Fermi's Paradox is _not_ FTL, but the fact that
the _dimensions_ of the Universe are small when compared to the
_age_ of the Universe. For example, the diameter of the Milky Way
might be crossed by a near-lightspeed vessel many times since the
Earth was formed.
