Marvin:
Any on Brin-L?

I'm interesting in getting recommendations of good books to read about
the Pacific War from all perspectives.

Me:
Yes, I am. Start with _Eagle Against the Sun_ - it's the standard history
of the Pacific War, and still held in very high regard by everyone, even
people who don't agree with its central thesis (that the American decision
to launch a two-pronged assault on Japan, one North from Australia and the
second West from Hawaii, was a mistake).
