I played once. My husband played once.

My husband played his brother one afternoon when we were visiting their
parents. Dan got lucky and totally skunked Bill, who competed in
tournaments on a regular basis. Dan ended up with a starter deck at
some point. (Maybe a gift from Bill? I don't know....)

I was taught how to play at a con by a 14-year-old who played a lot and
usually did well. She had a special deck she often used, full of rats.
She gave me another deck to use. The cards fell just right such that I
skunked her. I haven't played since. Dan was going to toss his deck
and I took it. It's somewhere within 5 feet of me, but I couldn't tell
you just where. (Considering the piles of stuff on the desk & table
here, plus the desk drawers and file cabinet drawers, there are a number
of places it could be....)

Bill is out of work at the moment. I don't think he's doing much
on-line. If he is, and he hears about this, that might just be it for a
couple of months. :)

        Julia

looking forward to seeing Bill in 8 days!
