Seems to me that you've done more "whining" than anyone else regarding this issue. Fact is, our agreed-upon etiquette guidelines quite clearly state that "Profanity is not welcome". Your continued membership in this community implies agreement to the etiquette guidelines. You've stated that you don't agree with the "no profanity" clause, but it seems that the overall community sentiment that's been expressed contradicts your preference. In short, I think you're making a mountain out of the molehill that is our community standard. Here's an idea: if someone's complaints about profanity on this list bother you, simply don't read their posts. Don't respond to them and come up with another topic that you find more interesting.
