On the contrary, the f-word has been surpassed by the n-word (related to negro). While it is quite legal to use the n-word in broadcasting, it is considered FAR more offensive in American culture. A congressmen could use the F-word to the press, and would not get nearly the scorn if he instead used the n-word. The N-word is an election killer. BTW... anyone see the Spongebob episode (#35 - Sailor Mouth) where they learned the 13 curse words even sailors should not say? Spongebob: Hey Patrick, what does this word mean?" Patrick: *reading* Mr. Krabbs is a *sound effect* Ohh... it's one of those 'sentence enhancers'. Mr Krabbs: In fact there are 13 bad words... Squid: "Wait, aren't there only 7?" Mr. K: "Not if you're a sailor! Arr arr arr!" Spongebob: How the (dolphin chirps) are ya? Today we have a (dolphin chirp) Krabby Patty dipped in (dolphin chirp) greasy sauce. Mr. Krabs: There is 13 bad words you should never say! Patrick: Wow, thats a lot of (dolphin chirp) bad words. Nerd From Hell!
