Tch, tch, tch.... Just wait until you find your most important CD-ROM stuck in a crack of your computer chassis, or perhaps you will have the pleasure of getting handed the snapped-off CD-ROM tray from your expensive DVD/cd-burner, or you find toys in your zip drive..... At the very least, you will have some sort of food wiped on the computer, most likely the monitor. Lately, my 3 yo has figured out that there is a fun little ball in the mouse, that with a bit of effort, he can play with - he chewed right through the rubber cladding on the ball. Thank god for cheap optical mice.
Kids naturally figure out what CRTL-ALT-DEL does, as well as which computer button on the computer chassis will get their parents attention the fastest. I also think you will find that they will still want to be on the fastest computer in the house, since it usually has the biggest monitor. Kids games today require much more performance than your standard computer. You just may have to give up the good computer to use the Internet and type mail in peace. (hehehheeee) have fun...
