From the voice of experience: before you get a new, larger hard drive, make sure your OS, BIOS, etc., will be able to work with a hard drive of that capacity. If they are old, it's possible that, for example, you will be able to put a 100GB hard drive in the computer but the software will only recognize it as 10GB or less. How old is your motherboard and what type of CPU, BIOS, etc., do you have? You may get a good deal on a large-capacity hard drive only to find that you will have to essentially get a new computer before it will work . . . -- Ronn! :) God bless America, Land that I love!
