First of all, radio stations already have to compensate composers for every
song that they play over the airwaves. It hardly seems unreasonable to me
that Internet Radio Stations should be required to pay similar
compensation. This compensation should not be based on revenues, but on
listenership - the same as other performance licenses. Quite simply, there
is no right for internet radiobroadcasters to make money by broadcasting
others' intellectual property without compensation.
