So, just because of a few incidents, you are now labeling *all* of Europe
anti-Semitic. This is ridiculous. There have also been incidents of attacks
on mosques on gay people and on non-whites; by your logic, all of Europe
must also be anti-Muslem, homophobic and racist.

Nonsense. It is only a minority who consider Jews to be less than others. It
certainly is NOT European policy.

True, but having freedoms comes with a price: an obligation towards others.
I have freedom of speech, but that does not mean I can get away with yelling
"Fire!" in a crowded theater.

Other example: cell phones are known to possibly cause interference with
electronic equipment. While I carry a cell phone (which can be seen as an
expression of a desire to be reachable), I still have to turn it off when I
enter a hospital or board a plane. My right to be reachable then conflicts
with other people's right to health and safety, so my right is temporarily
suspended in the interest of a larger group of people.

It is likely that the incident in Norway was caused by an overprotective
security guard; there is no evidence of it being official Norwegian policy.
Since you seem to believe it *is* official Norwegian policy, please provide
the evidence that proves that the Norwegian government does not value the
idea of free expression or does not extend that freedom to Jews.

Unfortunately for you and some others on this list, I write my own replies
rather than have them written for me by a right-winged American.
