I quoted Pablo Neruda (Stephen Tapscott, tr.) "I hunt for the liquid measure of your steps" some months ago. It doesn't sound right at all. It should be "I hunt the liquid measure of your steps". <sheepish grin> Not that there's anything wrong with the first translation, I just feel better with the second.
