You will have to blame the US media for that. I can assure that ten days 
after the report was published, the report as well as the discussions and 
consequences so far are still a major news topic over here every day.

Well, it was an awful lot of work. All those people to be interviewed, 
investigating every incident, digging into the region's history. And let's 
face it, if the report would have been finished within six months after the 
investigation started, most people would have complained that it was done 
so fast that it *had* to be sloppy work. We would not want that, now would we?
