filter advertising, have turned off Java / active scripting, remove
'referrer', and my IP address is different every time I connect.

Java can do some very invasive things like this:

If they are able to tie a number (cookie) to your email, then they can
track pretty much wherever you go on the internet.  They might even be
able to do a reverse email-lookup and come up with your name....
