Let me take a crack at this. In fact Jeroen has never kicked anyone off the list but 
he talks about it alot. 

I left in a snip of your snip of Jeroen. It is the flavor of the thing; He "could 
easily kick them off the list". This sounds like someone saying "I could easily kick 
your ass but I chose for the moment at least not to. I agree that he has never 
actually kicked someone off but he keeps bringing it up. I think this is relatively 
unique on list. I don't think that this is discussed very often by other list members. 
Why bring it up if it is not a threat?
