There isn't enough time to do that sort of research. You are more likely to see comments about your prospective hire and make a quick judgement about that person. Either a) oooh, this guy/gal looks like too much trouble to be worth or b) interesting but I don't care.
More likely the former rather than the latter, I think. - jmh
