I'm a electrician* but am 130 miles from bad plug. I did survey on their
house once, thinking of installing hot tub, so I charted the power for 24
hours, plus used meter's function to capture high and low voltage, gotta
love those Fluke metres. At the time, 14 months ago, everything was fine at
the house. And the house was rehabed inside so all the wiring is good (as
compared to my house where they ran three lead wire from the electrical box
for 5 - 20 feet, then bugged into old two lead wire, then installed new
three prong plugs for the outlets. I checked two outlets for three wire
power and they passed, but house was furnished at the time of inspection, so
they were the only plugs I could get to. The easy way = the wrong way kids).

Thank you all for the help and ideas. I was more wondering if there are
cheap power supplies out there, that was my first thought, but you have all
provided me with things to look for. But first we will take care of heat,
just in case.

*I hated being electrician. Loved the pay, but nothing else.
