"Well," he replied, "I would never want to work at a company that would do that sort of thing. But if your company doesn't, that's OK." If a company is showing intolerance and prejudice, then the applicant should reconsider working there, but showing more tolerance and acceptance than you personally have should not be a reason to reject a potential offer.
