That was the time the EFF got a hefty check from us, and a letter was
sent with it. Other recipients of the same letter were the CDA sponsor,
the chair of the Republican Party, our representative in Congress
(Republican) and both our senators (also both Republican). He really
gave it to the GOP on that one....
While it is in my best interest to vote in the Republican primaries
since in my county, the Republican candidate usually wins in the general
election and I want to do my best to weed out the worst of the crap
where I can, I tend to vote for the candidates of other parties for
statewide offices in the general election.
(Anyone care to guess who I voted for in the last presidential
election?)
