Actually, it would be a D7 chord without the 3rd.  (If the 3rd was 
"F-natural" it would be a D minor 7, spelled D F A C, if "F-sharp" it would 
be D Major, Dominant 7, or in Jazz terms, just a D7, spelled D F-sharp A C 
-- and having the C on the bottom is just an inversion, without which we 
wouldn't have most of the music we've had in the past 400 years or so).
