Funny how you know you're about to write something that is earth shaking, though I'd guess some of you suspect the device being used.
God lied because He likes democracy and free will. If you become accustomed to receiving divine signals it robs you of your free will, unless you have some reason to believe that whoever is sending the signal is lying. Then it stacks the deck towards a democratic interpretation of the signal if you're humble enough to admit that you don't *know* how to interpret the signal, or it becomes a way to tyranny if you reject the signal and interpret it however you please without consulting your fellows. Therefore, scripture must be determined democratically, a straight majority rules. I'd argue that laws might be handled differently, but I don't make the decisions around here. In both classes of Law, a method for amendment is required. [you look marvelous, boss, or you look like the biggest jackass in the history of the world] Yeah. Shut yer yapper.
