Is anyone else appalled by the implications of this, given that it's partially funded by the DoD? I'm all for reseach to improve the lives of those suffering from spinal cord injuries, but to completely negate the will of another creature seems to me- well, creepy. Part of the thrill of riding my horse is knowing that, if he chose to, he could toss me off (and actually has, a time or two), but he really does like me -so he doesn't.
