Angel: he's a vampire, but he's a good guy, but he can't *feel* too good

Hangs out with demons, former members of obscure secretive British cults, 
and ex-librarians and is in love with an ex-chearleader whose whole purpose 
in existing is to destroy his kind and who hangs out with witches, 
werewolves, commandos, half-demons, ex-demons, and former members of obscure 
secretive British cults (see above).

This doesn't sound promising to you?  ;-)
