I was floored in one syllable.

A movie on a spanish-language channel came on, with Keanu and Morgan Freeman.
The translator doing Keanu was fine, no surprises, but the first syllable
out of the translator's mouth speaking for Morgan was a deep bass, thickly
accented, and did not fit the body language of Mr. Morgan Freeman at all.

10 seconds later, the translator switched back into competent mode and I
stopped laughing, but remembering the joke on my way up the stairs killed me.

So I award the hat to that translator, not knowing where he hails from,
Chiapas is just an honored place.

Also, Reggie posted a fine sendup of my sendup of Steven Brust's sendup of
Dumas, and made it overbearingly long at that. Dude, you can give the
impression of overbearing and long language without actually being
overbearingly long when you do it. But it was effective until I got bored
reading it; maybe my attention span is too short.
[Dude . . . you've merely got excellent taste and professional skills]
