Have you ever looked into CSA farms?  For a small weekly fee (~$20) they
deliver a big box of mixed produce to your home or office. You get a
great mix of fresh veggies & fruits, recipies on how to use the wackier
stuff ("What the heck do I use this radicchio for, anyway?") and you're
supporting local small farmers in a real, tangible way.
