Well, it didn't work just on me. If it had been up to me entirely, we'd
have gone to Tres Amigos for dinner. Dan didn't want to go there.
(Something about having had tacos the night before, and something about
wanting to do a bit of shopping after dinner; IHOP is a lot closer to
home than Tres Amigos and to the place he wanted to do the shopping
at.) So I said we were going to IHOP, period. Then I amended my
statement to say we could go somewhere else that served French toast if
he really didn't want to go to IHOP. We ended up at IHOP. :)
