I heard some rather disturbing news today regarding the International Criminal Court (ICC).
According to the evening news and at least one major Dutch newspaper, the US Senate has passed (or is about to pass) a bill that (under certain conditions) allows for an US invasion of The Netherlands. According to the bill, such an invasion might be necessary if the The Hague-based ICC will ever imprison Americans charged with war crimes. IOW, Americans should not be tried for war crimes, and the US is willing to attack its own allies to prevent it from happening.
