My nephew's computer. They put new AMD in it and new motherboard. A week later it failed again. The technician said both MB and CPU were gone. The tech said that AMD has trouble with their CPU, that it generates and destroys itself with a spurious voltage. (They again wanted to charge full price to replace the MB and CPU!)
I've never heard of this with AMD. If it was true it'd be front page news on all the networks and papers! Just wondering if anyone else has ever heard or read this. Kevin T. Thanks
