Causing unnecessary pain to any sentient being 
is IMHO evil. If the sentient computer program 
can feel pain, than torturing it is evil. 
 
Heinlein's definition of evil stops here. I would 
add a more Brinesque definition of evil, because 
denying such sentient being the full potential 
to iteract with the real world is evil.
