Come on Erik, you should know a bit about sampling theory.  If one look at
the number of folks who have stated on and off list that they are bothered
by this, and compare it to the number of folks who think this is absolutely
no big deal, you will see that the latter category is far smaller than the
first.  Indeed, I'd venture to say that the latter category is singular.

Thus, it is reasonable to presume that the vast majority of posters would
rather this thread be stopped.  Further, since, IIRC, lurkers have come out
of lurkerdom to complain, it is logical to presume that the vast majority
of lurkers also feel this way.

So, it appears that the logical conclusion is that you believe that your
right to your actions predominates.  Since you are right, and the views of
most people are wrong wrong wrong, you can ignore them.

You know who that reminds me of?
