This "swearing on the bible" should be forbidden 
to *Christians*. They make the bible an idol. 
Protestants criticize Catholics for worshipping 
the images of the saints, and we do the same with 
the bible. 
 
The bible became the worshipping idol of the 
Protestants :-/
