Oh right! I thought you meant some kind of major league punch-up between
rival teams, similar to an episode of ER that I watched recently where one
(American) football player gets injured, then someone decks the guy that
tackled him, and then someone jumps the coach and after a while, both teams
and their cheerleaders end up in the ER!

So, not quite that bad then?
