For foreign news (which is usually poorly covered
here, unless it's about terrorism/Afganistan), I
watch "BBC News" and sometimes a German news program
(forget the name, sorry) on PBS, which usually has
foreign documentaries and other offerings as well.
 
Before they were cancelled, I used to watch "Forever
Knight" (Canada) and "Highlander" (Canada? not sure
of this one); I catch "Andromeda" (Canada)
occasionally.
