That works fine if people use the 'reply' function in their mail-client and that mail-client behaves in an Netscape accepted way, putting in just one re: even if the message is replied to several times. Some however have an e-mail client that doesn't do that. If those messages are then replied to they turn up in a seperate thread or even as singular messages even though I've sorted through as thread. This means in order to have all the messages belonging to one thread I need to sort them by hand. First moving the threaded ones to another mailfolder then the searching for the loose ones. This gets worse when people use foreign e-mail clients that don't prepend re: for a reply but f.i. like the one someone on the culture list uses that puts in sv:. It simply wrecks havoc with the sorting system of this Netscape version. And so dus the tag in the subject line when it gets muddled by some of the e-mail clients in use on this list. And that is probably more then you'd ever wanted to know about my sorting problems. :o) Sonja _______________________________________________ http://www.mccmedia.com/mailman/listinfo/brin-l
