I went a very mediocre 8-5 last week, brining my season total to 38-20.
ATS I was 5-9 for a season total of 32-27-1. Fortuantely, I split my two
ATS bets in my Office Pool! The UPSET SPECIAL fell again in bizarre
fashion, as the Browns found another creative way to lose, for a 1-3 record
on the year.

Arizona +3.5 at Carolina - Even though they lost last week, I think that
the Panthers demonstrated that they were for real in Green Bay. Pick:
Panthers and to cover

Washington +5.5 at Tennessee - The Titans are really truly banged up,
Derrick Mason is out, Kearse is out, Rolle is limping, Eddie George is
limping - and except for one half against the Eagles and one half against
the Browns they really have not looked good. I think that the Redskins
and the fun'n'gun get on-track here against the weak "D". Pick: Redskins
UPSET SPECIAL

Cincinatti +13.5 at Indianapolis - If the Bengals lost a stripe on their
helmet for ever loss..... they'd be the Browns. Pick: Colts and to cover

Kansas City at NY Jets +3 - I'd love to say that the Jets get on track this
week and begin that Super Bowl run that I predicted, but I think that
Priest Holmes is for real, and moreover, the Jets don't have an answer for
him. Pick: Chiefs and to cover

New England +3 at Miami - Hard to believe that one of these great teams
has to go on an 0-2 schneid. I think that Ricky Williams will give the
Fish the edge over Antowain Smith in a ball-control game, and that the
Patriots really miss Troy Brown. Pick: Dolphins, but take the points

San Diego +5 at Denver - The Broncos were flat-out embarassed on Monday
Night, especially after losing their poise. As much as I like what the
Chargers are doing, I like the Broncos bouncing back at home even more.
Pick: Broncos, but take the points

NY Giants at Dallas (pick) - I'll go with the bounce-back theory again, the
Cowboys are coming off a huge win, and the Giants suffered an embarassing
loss. Pick: G-Men

Philadelphia at Jacksonville +3 - Yes, the Jaguars are better than
expected, but the Eagles are really, really good. Pick: Eagles and to cover.

Oakland at Buffalo +3 - What a shot-out this game is going to be. I
expect both running attacks to be shut down and both teams take to the air.
Buffalo is really starting to believe in themselves, and will be
completely jacked up for this game against the consensus "Best Team in
Football" right now. Pick: Bills

St. Louis +7 at San Francisco - Jaimie Martin isn't the kind of QB you just
"plug into the system" and have produce. Kurt Warner he is not,
especially facing an offensive line starting two very horrible players at
both tackle positions. Pick; 49'ers and to cover

Pittsburgh +3 at New Orleans - The Saints really are a good team, the loss
in Detroit notwithstanding. I think that they'll handle a Steelers team
that still can't seem to score much points. Pick; Saints and to cover

Baltimore +6.5 at Cleveland - This game is still a Super Bowl on the
Cuyahoga. Pick: Browns, but take the points

Tampa Bay at Atlanta +1.5 - The Falcons climb to 2-2 and get right in the
thick of the divisional race in the schockingly deep NFC South Division.
Pick: Falcons

Green Bay +1.5 at Chicago - The Packers seem like a paper tiger to me.
Terry Glenn and Javon Walker are both pretty banged up, and their defense
looks old and slow. Plus, Chicago needs this one more. Pick: Bears.
