Domestic white ducks and mallards can mate and produce offspring (not sure if these are sterile 'mules' or not). At White Rock Lake in Dallas there is a resident population of mallards and domestic ducks (people feed them year-round), and I saw quite a few hybrids: mostly white but with brown-flecked or green heads and brown-marked necks/breasts (they were also between the size of the smaller mallards and the larger domestics). The wings were mostly white but had brown/dark/&buff markings. My Cat Brought Me Half-A-Mouse Yesterday Maru __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
