Just look at what is happening in pop music: many songs are promoted as "<artist>'s new single", but old folks like us (where "old" is defined as: age group 30+ <grin>) will recognise many of those allegedly "new" songs as covers of songs that were hits back in ancient times when *we* were teenagers.
