Your "simple solution" is not so simple. How will it serve anyone's interest if schools have to be closed down because of lack of money?
Dunno, but it sounds like a good idea. After all, it is in the best interest of the entire country that its children receive a decent basic education, so it makes sense for the federal government to contribute in the costs.After all, who's idea was it to get the federal government funding primary and secondary schools anyways?
