A while ago an escalating series of temporary bans - a week, two weeks, a month, etc., for each successive suspension - was floated. I don't know if we want to be that formal, but I think fairness suggests that the current suspension be set at a modest and finite number of days. It might also be reasonable to set as a minimum preconditon to reinstatement that one refrain from attacking the list's server....
