Well, this is a *war* story, after all :-)

But somewhat more seriously, even if they use regular non-nuclear missles in the movie, how cool would it be to see a whole company of fully networked, powered, armored, missle-lobbing, flame-throwing, devastation machines. I mean, wasn't most of the anime man-in-a-metal-suit genre based on these very powersuits?

What's wrong with having a good, rollicking war story that is *also* about personal responsibility, and that treats the idea of a Veterans Democracy as more that the semi-humorous riff on fascism we got from Starship Troopers, the movie?
