Good lord. You've done your homework! That will teach me to unlurk. Do you work for the government by any chance? Well, I *was* at NEIU, but I decided Academia was Not For Me, and am a science textbook editor now. I figured that might be better leverage in the quest for global science literacy and education, which is a pet passion of mine. By the way, the web site I suspect you are referrng to is one I haven't had access to in seven years. I'm always surprised when I find it's still there... Lazy sysadmin, I guess ;). That's not to say I'm all that punctual about updating personal websites, mind you... > BTW, they also tell me you are the author of the the short story _MoonRise_ > (http://www.aphelion-webzine.com/shorts/2001/07/MoonRise.htm). I liked that > story; when can we expect the sequel? I also like to write in my spare (ha!) time, and am a co-editor and general tech person for the web-zine & writing community Toasted Cheese at http://www.toasted-cheese.com (shameless plug! ) in which a couple other stories of mine show up. Moonrise is still on my "to fiddle with further" list (it was a rush job, I found out about the contest a week before the deadline), ut I have a bad tendency to have too many irons in the writing fire. You already know who one of my favorite SF writers is ;) My other is Lois McMaster Bujold. > Jeroen "Inquiring minds want to know" van Baardwijk Gee, usually they don't want to know about me, though!
