Well, it's accurate, vague as it is.
To be more specific, it was a pot roast thing from Stouffer's. Empty bag
into baking dish (I used a Corningware French White pot), cover, stick in
450F oven for 20 minutes, remove, stir, put cover back on, put back in oven
for another 15 minutes, serve. Pretty easy. And it turned out better than
I thought it would at the "stir" point. (First time for everything; only
thing is, maybe Superbowl evening isn't the best time for experimentation.)
And we have "frozen things" on a regular basis. Something you just stick in
an oven for awhile, stopping once to stir or pull off the cover or
something, is a pretty easy thing to fix for dinner.
