My wife Anita made the dresses for her bridesmaids and maid of honor (her sister) and Anita's mom made Anita's dress. On our first anniversary, Anita's mom gave us a Barbie doll with hair, bouquet, and dress all done exactly like Anita's was at the wedding, with the dress made from scraps left over from making Anita's dress. She gave us the doll in a display box with "Wedding Day 'Nita" printed on it.We bought a whole lot of white cotton brocade, and my mom made the dress.)
It's one of the coolest gifts we've ever received.
