Wow! The disclaimer at the bottom of your message is gone!! Congratulations, Jeroen. :)Don't worry, it will be back. I don't put my Legal Notice under *every* message. There is in fact a pattern to it; I'm surprised that nobody seems to have figured that out yet.
Now, this is an interesting conundrum. Hmm.. Let's see... you found about my appointment in the Brin-L Info page. This would mean that such page would be the place where information regarding Brin-L is posted. Which means, it's posted in the proper venue where information about Brin-L is made public, right?Only in theory. You see, there are only three reasons for people to visit that page: (1) subscribe, (2) change subscription settings, and (3) unsubscribe. I only learned about your new job this morning, and only by accident because Sonja had to go there to check her subscription settings. Over the years it has always been the custom here that the list-admins would send a message to the list when a new list-admin had been appointed.
There isn't much other information about Brin-L on Arnett's site; you'll find a lot more information about the list at www.brin-l.com (my website) and www.brin-l.org (the list-related part of Steve Sloan's website).
