It has not been the only exception, and it's not the only scenario. A few weeks ago I added a Copyright Notice to a message; only a few hours later you threatened me with:

This is not negotiable and I will not discuss it with you. If it continues, or you take any other action that threatens to disrupt my servers or exposes me to unacceptable liability (in *my* opinion), you'll be on moderation for as long as I host the list.
