Well, if the problem was needing a hard-hat for head protection, a wig won't
do that, but a better-fitting hard hat probably would.
Initially, while you're shopping for a wig, you can just get one of those
funky rainbow afros at a costume shop and use that until you find a solution
you prefer.
A scarf might be a less expensive but perfectly acceptable solution to the
problem, as well. Or just buying jackets with hoods, *that* might do the
trick.
