A train wreck no matter how you look at it, IMO. What's really upsetting is that we could have used 9/11 as a unifying force, rallying the free world. Instead we've polarized the world, and are well on the way to abandoning our meme in the name of security. I have a feeling that if we want freedom and democracy in the future we're going have to fight for it again.
