Yeah, in the UK. As I said tho, some of my US friends have been 
burned as well.

It depends on the employer. And in one case an entirely 
understandable (cutting edge bioscience research) restriction on them 
talking about what they had done for the previous employer.

My paranoia response is learned. I've been nearly burned a few times 
a few times in the past.
