I read this with more than a little melancholy.  Coupled with the news that
JPL is standing down its Galileo mission, this is a sad day of saying
goodbye to old friends.  It won't be much longer until we have to say
goodbye to the Voyagers as well.  And Pathfinder had such a short, if
magnificent life.
