And I always thought there were a lot of similarities between _The Left Hand of Darkness_ and _Glory Season_ : lone male diplomat sent to a remote planet where the inhabitants were long ago genetically engineered into a new sexuality and observer makes a very close friend with one of the inhabitants and has an adventure with said inhabitant, and observer is in charge of paving the way for future contact with the rest of galatic civilization which is following not far behind the first observer... But I never thought there was anything wrong with those similarities. Certainly nothing worth complaining about. Good ideas have a way of repeating themselves... -- "Erik Reuter" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> http://www.erikreuter.net/ _______________________________________________ http://www.mccmedia.com/mailman/listinfo/brin-l
